His talent was noticed by Mira Nair and as a result, he started ‘The Namesake.” Further, he was also seen in “A Mighty Heart”, “New York, I Love You”. As an added feather to his cap, he was also a part of the Academy winner movies “Slumdog Millionaire” and “Life of Pie”. The other Hollywood movies that he has done are “The Amazing Spiderman”, “Inferno”, “Jurassic World.”

2. Aishwarya Rai

After winning the title of “Miss World” in 1994, Aishwarya went on to rule our hearts. A successful Bollywood breakthrough wasn’t enough for “the most beautiful woman in the world” and she dazzled in her first appearance at the Cannes film festival in 2003. Her entry into Hollywood started with “Bride and Prejudice” in 2004, followed by “The Mistress Of Spices”, “Provoked: A True Story”, “The Last Legion”, and “The Pink Panther 2”. She was also the first Indian actress to be a part of the jury at Cannes.

Our very own Desi girl took Hollywood by storm with her very first song ‘In my city’ with will.i.am. Soon enough, she signed Quantico with ABC studios, and since then there has been no looking back! She was also seen in “Baywatch” opposite Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron. She is also appearing in “Matrix 4”, in 2021. PC has made a place for herself in Hollywood and openly spoken about sexism and racism on global platform. In December 2018, she married Nick Jonas, an American singer-songwriter.

Hollywood couldn’t escape from the charm of this critically acclaimed actress. She made her first appearance in Mira Nair’s “The Namesake”, opposite Irrfan Khan. It is safe to say that it was probably one of Tabu’s best works as the movie still remains etched in our hearts. She fit the role perfectly and garnered praise from audiences across the world. For her next tryst with Hollywood, she was seen in the Academy award winner “Life of Pi”, coincidentally this time around as well she was paired with Irrfan.

Big B was seen in “The Great Gatsby” with Leonardo Di Caprio and Tobey Maguire. He bowled over Hollywood critics with his perfection. His character in the movie was much like his status as an actor- larger than life!

He is known for his stellar performance in the Academy award-winning “Gandhi” , “Charlie Wilson’s War”, “Code 46”, and “East is East”- a very popular British comedy. Apart from British movies, he has also proved his mettle in Pakistani cinema. His last Hollywood appearance was in “The Hundred-Foot Journey.”

7. Anupam Kher

Anupam Kher

An actor par excellence, he has portrayed versatile roles in over 500 movies and plays. Anupam Kher has done Hollywood movies in “Bend it like Beckham”, “Silver Linings Playbook” and “Bride and Prejudice”.
