It’s Christmas week and everyone is in their Holiday spirit! The temperature has dropped down and it’s the perfect time to curl up cozily and watch some holiday movies. Get out your warm blankets, pour yourself some egg nog or wine or hot chocolate and watch a warm fuzzy aww-inducing holiday movie! Love Actually is a rom-com set in the holiday season with an amazing star cast. It’s a treat to watch Hugh Grant, Alan Rickman, Emma Thompson, Keira Knightley, Colin Firth, Rowan Atkinson give stellar performances. All those stories, relationship ups – downs, complications set around Christmas will strike a chord with you.
The film will take you on a rollercoaster ride and it will make you laugh and cry at the same time and more than anything else, it will make you believe in destiny.
A Christmas Prince:
Logline: “Christmas comes early for an aspiring young journalist when she’s sent abroad to get the scoop on a dashing prince who’s poised to be king.”
Do you like watching rom-coms? Have you ever dreamt about a knight in shining armor coming into your life and a happily ever after? Then this is the movie for you! The plot is very simple where a regular girl meets the Prince and they fall in love but the way it unfolds and the stunning locations will leave you wanting for me.

The Polar Express:
Logline: “In this warm-hearted tale, a young boy’s faith in the holiday spirit is revived after he makes his way by train to the North Pole on Christmas Eve.”
As children, we always fantasized about visiting the North Pole and this movie will fulfill your fantasy by taking you on an adventurous ride to the North Pole. It would be apt to say that this movie is magical and will add on to your holiday spirit and transport you into a magical wonderland.
The Princess Switch:
Logline: “When a down-to-earth Chicago baker and a soon-to-be princess discover they look like twins, they hatch a Christmastime plan to trade places.”
This film’s plot is a combination of the Parent Trap and Princess Diaries. The two lead characters, one a baker and the other a princess, run into each other and realize they look alike and decide to swap their lives! And now their lives are romantically entangled! The plot of this movie may not be extraordinary but it is cute and cheesy. Perfect to watch while dousing yourself in the Christmas spirit.
The Christmas Chronicles:
Logline: “After accidentally crashing Santa’s sleigh, a brother and sister pull an all-nighter to save Christmas with a savvy, straight-talking St.Nick.”
Well, Kurt Russell plays Santa Claus in this movie and he is the best Santa ever! Two naughty siblings try to steal his sleigh and now they are stuck with Santa on his sleigh and are going on an adventure to deliver gifts before the sun goes up! The dialogues are hilarious and you would enjoy watching this adventure
Christmas Inheritance:
Logline: “To inherit her father’s company, socialite Ellen must first visit his small hometown, where she learns the value of hard work and helping others.”
A spoilt rich brat has to visit a small town called Snow Falls so that she can inherit her father’s company. While she is there she happens to meet a very handsome hunk and like all cheesy romantic movies, you can take a guess at what happens next…
The Holiday Calendar:
Logline: “A talented photographer stuck in a dead-end job inherits an antique Advent calendar that may be predicting future — and pointing her to love.”
Kat Graham from The Vampire Diaries fame is playing the lead in this one. She plays a photographer who’s gets a magical Advent calendar from her grandfather. This calendar reveals unexpected clues to her destiny. Will she find her dream career or true love behind one of those little calendar doors? You will have to watch this cute little film to find that out.
Holiday Rush:
Logline: “A widowed radio DJ and his four spoiled kids need to tighten their belts and pull together when their life of luxury turns lean before Christmas.”
Rush Williams, is a popular N.Y.C. radio DJ who has spoiled his kids at Christmas ever since their mom died. But he loses his high paying job during the holidays and he must now fight to embrace a simpler life while reconnecting with his children. This would take you on a journey where the characters understand themselves and reconnect with each other.
