TVF or The Viral Fever was one of the earliest entertainment channels on YouTube, founded in 2010. According to the founder, who is an IIT alumni, the concept behind creating the channel was to make content for the younger generation which is relatable to them since most content on Indian television is aimed towards older people and housewives and it seems that the channel has been able to stay true to its name as its contents do always get viral!
The first web series by TVF was “Permanent Roommates” which was released in 2014. The students study for excessively long hours but still aren’t able to become smart.
Instead, they are becoming increasingly depressed due to lack of a normal life. In fact, as a symbolism for the colourless life of Kota students, the whole series is presented in black and white. This is another show that depicts modern day issues related to youngsters. It narrates the life of a young couple, Tanya and Mikesh, who start living together after spending years in a long distance relationship. The chemistry between the leads is adorable and the story is sweet making it a perfect show to watch during those times when you are in a romantic mood.

Flames illustrates a delightful picture of the teenage years. Even though the main theme centres around the relationship of teen lovers, Rajat and Ishita, the story also explores the themes of love, friendship and how these emotions and sweet moments help a person cope with the pressures of life. The simple and sweet chemistry of the couple moved the audience and it reminds us of how sweet and innocent our first love was.
It also shows other relatable factors like Rajat being unable to have a conversation openly with his parents which depicts a common issue in the middle class household where a communication gap between parents and teenagers is very common.
