Yoga Nidhi started their online classes in 2012 by offering Vedic Chanting and Yoga Sutra classes. The online classes are provided through the zoom application so that it is easily accessible to everyone.  Both individual and group classes are available and group classes include 10 participants at least. The following classes are available on Yoga Nidhi:

Bhagwat Gita: Bhagwat Gita classes will help you understand and look at the holy book from the perspective of Yoga Sutra. You will understand the deeper meaning of yoga and try to figure out the references to Mahabharata.  In the classes, Sheela will chant the Gita Slokas while Ravi Shankar will explain the Slokas.

Samkhya Karika: The chanting of Samkhya Karika is little more complicated than the slokas of Bhagavad Gita and Yoga Sutras and therefore, needs deeper understanding and practice. Samkhya is the basis of the philosophy of yoga and once you understand it properly, it will bring a certain translucency which helps you practice yoga with a lot more devotion.

Yoga Sutra: In these classes, you will investigate the gems of the Yoga Sutra and the rosary they create. You will explore the sutras one-by-one while also comprehending the common theme that binds them all together.

Aside from that, you will learn the underlying meaning of many of the important terms, recite the scriptures with Sheela in word-by-word rhythm and with sandhi, cross-reference the ideas with the Bhagavad Gita and Samkhya, and use purana, poems, and literary examples to demonstrate the ideas.

Taittiriya Upanishad: Of the three parts that make up the Taittiriya Upanisad, the Siksavalli is the first. The next two portions are the Brahmanandavalli and the Bhrguvalli. The Brahmanandavalli, also known as the truth of Brahman, comprises the absolute reality of the upanisads.

The Siksavalli provides the crucial cleansing and preliminary rituals that will serve as the basis for the truth revealed in the Brahmanandavalli. Among rare upanisads for which the complete chanting notations are published is the Taittiriya Upanisad. It is also the origin of the six reciting guidelines known together as Siksa.

About

The main philosophy behind Yoga Nidhi is Arogya, Samatva and Viveka which respectively means good health, equanimity and clarity. These goals are achieved with the help of the main pillars of yoga which are pranayama, asana and dhyana.

Yoga is combined with the ancient and spiritual

practice of Vedic meditation which brings peace and calm to the mind and imparts stillness in the body.
