The artistic director of Gurukul Switzerland and Gurukul Dubai, Pali Chandra, is a native of the Lucknow Gharana. She excelled as a performer and an educator under the guidance of Guru Vikram Singhe, Kapila Raj, and Ram Mohan Maharaj. Her purpose is to share her work with dance
lovers.
Read More Pali Chandra has conducted lectures presentations and seminars at Oxford, Seattle, Birmingham, Bradford, Liverpool, and Hong Kong Universities, the London School of Contemporary Art, and the Berlin Museum, to mention a few, for more than 20 years.
She was a member of the working group that created the Kathak syllabus for the esteemed Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing in the UK. Her countless projects as a choreographer and performer have been well-received all around the world.
