Regular classes for Children: The institute offers Bharatanatyam classes to kids of age 6 and above. The classes are conducted in the evenings, every Monday to Friday. The children are given proper guidance on the basics. They have to take an annual exam to get promoted to the next level.
At the end of 7 years, the student is offered a diploma and is considered to have completed the formal training in Bharatanatyam. Children are also given lots of opportunities to take part in various eminent dance competitions for which they are vigorously trained.
Weekend Classes: Regular classes may not be feasible for everybody and, therefore, for busy kids, the school offers weekend classes. The kids who attend weekend classes also receive the same level of training.
Weekend Classes For Adults: Age is no bar when it comes to learning. So, the institute has something for everyone. Special classes and workshops for adults are conducted on weekends. Busy adults who are interested in mastering the magnificent traditional art form of Bharatanatyam can join these classes.

Nalanda Bharatnatyam Nritya Niketan was founded by Guru K. Shobhana. The institute has completed 37 glorious years and has successfully trained several thousands of students in Bharatanatyam. Students right from the age of 6 years can enroll in these classes.
The students are required to appear for
annual exams and Gandharva examinations. After 12th standard, the students can also apply for a degree course in Bharatanatyam from this institute. Anybody can enroll in bharatanatyam classes at the institute as age is no bar.
Read More The teaching method constitutes a lot of practical dancing sessions along with theory for complete training of the children. The students are prepared to participate in different cultural activities and competitions like the Arangetram.
They are also prepared for different inter class and international level dance competitions. Many students of the school have participated in several Bharatanatyam competitions and brought laurels to the country and the institute
